Funding Your Wallet

Now that you’ve created your wallet, it’s time to fund it with crypto tokens. To perform any transaction on a blockchain—whether trading on a decentralized exchange or staking in one of FlowDex’s liquidity pools—you’ll need the native gas token for that blockchain to cover transaction fees. For example, ETH is required for Ethereum, BNB for BNB Chain, and so on.

🟠 Fiat On-Ramp with Simplex

FlowDex has integrated Simplex as a trusted fiat on-ramp provider, making it easy to purchase crypto directly into your wallet using a bank transfer or credit card. With Simplex, you can conveniently buy crypto without needing to go through external platforms.

To get started:

  1. Navigate to the Buy Crypto option on the FlowDex platform.

  2. Follow the prompts provided by Simplex to select your preferred payment method and desired crypto asset.

  3. Once your payment is processed, your purchased crypto will be sent directly to your wallet.

🟠 Funding via Centralized Exchanges

If you already have an account with a centralized exchange like Binance or Coinbase, funding your wallet becomes straightforward. Follow these steps:

  1. Deposit Funds on the Exchange: Add funds to your centralized exchange account if you don’t already have crypto assets.

  2. Withdraw to Your Wallet:

  • Go to the “Withdraw” section of your exchange account.

  • Select the cryptocurrency you wish to withdraw.

  • Choose the correct blockchain network for the transaction (e.g., Ethereum, BNB Chain).

  • Enter your wallet address generated by your FlowDex-compatible wallet.

  • Confirm the transaction and wait for it to complete.
